About this Blog

trashbus is a place where random objects, things unused, weird people and stories long forgotten live their peculiar lives: anecdotes about a grandmother who once met the devil and a failed boat trip, photos of deserted basketball courts and left-behind clothes, and films about a werewolf and an unhappy resident of a fortress tell of people, lands and lives that unfold their real madness apart from common clichés. Most of the trashbus-material comes from the Balkans, but as trashbus is always on the move, there are stories and photos from other places, too.

Hop on and enjoy the ride!

You’re welcome! Just read through the questions and I think I will be having fun and a hard time and some emotions coming up answering them.🙂

Loved this: “Sometimes I open the doors to the bus and put something new inside, sometimes I just have a look around and feel, well, maybe a bit excited. There are some pretty things inside, some are ugly, some funny and some a bit meaningless. I still like them and I hope you do, too.”
Look forward to taking a peek inside and see what treasures I might uncover🙂

Hey there, I am glad you liked it! Please do have a look at the stories and feel free to let me know what you think. There are not many people who want to or dare to comment on my stories, and I understand that. But there is the possibility to get involved, that’s why there are comment fields🙂 I’ll try and stop by your blog soon, too!

Awesome!! What an awesome, principal idea. Great inspiration for photos and written word and gives wonderful “meaning” and purpose to your travels. Not that traveling needs a purposes, but I find I often see things I wouldn’t and experience more interesting things when I have some kind of creative purpose to go along with my travels. Happy 2015!

Any thoughts?
